"The Methuselah Complex" Explores Health Care Policy Options

An article in the latest issue of Planning & Action has received several responses from readers. The November/December issue features the third and final piece of “The Methuselah Complex,” a commentary by John Begala that explores health care finance and access in the U.S. It discusses how this country might achieve a nationally sponsored, universally accessible, affordable system of health care, noting the harsh reality that such a system would require the realignment of resources and various forms of rationing. All three sections of “The Methuselah Complex” have been combined into one document that is available on our Website.
